Writing this blog is a project that I've put on the back burner for several years. If my readers find one positive take away from any of my posts, I've accomplished my goal. The purpose of this blog is to connect to real people by being open about life's biggest challenges. Speaking of challenges... I received the surprise of my life, my greatest gift and my inspiration, I delivered my first baby girl and brought her home on my 44th birthday. My passion for activism, writing and art takes a backseat often but I am raising an emotionally healthy, strong baby girl and that is the best gift I can give to the world.
Thank you for sharing my journey, past, present and future. It's not always pretty but it is always real.
